The grant is offered to ALASBO members attending our July Summer Leadership Conference for the first time.   This year’s event will be held July 12 -14, 2024 in Fairbanks, Alaska.   Up to two grants of $750 are available to reimburse travel and lodging costs for Summer Leadership.  There is no fee to register for the conference.  Grant applications are due by May 31.

This grant is named for ALASBO’s founder, Tom Freeman.  All ALASBO members are eligible for this grant.  The Lowell Thomas Freeman Professional Development Grant is an award of $2,500 to attend the Association of School Business Officials International Annual Conference in Nashville, TN September 18-20, 2024.
