Standard Operating Procedures

In November 2022, ALASBO established a SOP Work Group to review the Standard Operating Procedures per finalization of the AASB/ASA/ALASBO review of Article 3 Business and Non-Instruction of the AASB Model Board Policies.  This work group recessed the summer of 2023 reconvening in September 2023. 

Melody Douglas and Sarah Jahn (former Administrative Services Director for the Juneau School District) Co-Chaired the Work Group.  Cindy Reilly replaced Melody in September 2023 as Co-Chair. 

Work Group Members include:

  Phil Hulett (Dillingham SD)

Megan Williams (NW Arctic SD)

Karen Morrison (Petersburg SD) also served as a member of the Work Group until she went to work for DEED in 2023.
